We chose the charity as homelessness is a huge problem in our city – and an ever increasing problem with the young population 18-25year old. GCS have in the past donated to charities in India but felt that we also needed to think about the city we represent.
Our members always make generous donations at the events and this money is highly appreciated by the Clock Tower Sanctuary who operate mainly on donations, goodwill and volunteers – we therefore felt our donations would help the less fortunate youth and decided it would be good to give something back to the community.
A special thank you to Mr Babubhai Patel who donated £120 toward this donation.
