Dear Members,
At the last Annual General Meeting (AGM) it was proposed and agreed that the new committee should hold an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to discussed the following points: Is the Society in a position to purchase a building in the near or distant future for the members needs and use with the current restricted fund held in the Society’s account.
- If NOT, will the Society be able to increase this fund to buy a building for the members needs and use
- IF (2) is not possible then:
- (a) All of the restricted fund should be transferred to the General Fund to be spent at the discretion of the Trustees in the furtherance of some particular aspect of the objects of the Charity.
Or - (b) A portion of the restricted fund should be transferred to the General Fund to be spent at the discretion of the Trustees in the furtherance of some particular aspect of the objects of the Charity.
