Information on the Powder colour bought from GCS on the day:
Safety
The powder is made from 99% corn starch and only 1% natural colours are used.
It is skin friendly and bio degradable so no environmental issues to be concerned about.
Tear open the sachet and you’re ready to powder.
Although the powders are safe and non-toxic we do not recommend throwing directly in to eyes or mouth.
Bleached or non-natural hair may hold the colour so may be best to pop some head gear on.
A pair of cool funk shades will help keep most of the dust out your eyes and a dust mask is recommended.
Remember have fun and play safe. ‘The powder is in your hands…. Whoosh!!’
Clothing & Body:
Jump up and down, shake yourself, pat your clothes to remove most of the powder. You could even hoover yourself if you carry one round with you! Don’t wear your best designer clothes when intending to use these powders as they may discolour lighter items of clothing. Bleached or damaged hair could absorb some colour.
Grass and Concrete:
A light covering will wash away with the next rain shower but if there are heavier deposits then a hose and stiff brush will help to disperse the remains.
Ingredients:
The contents are 99% corn starch and the remainder is made of colorants.
The powders are tested and confirmed as free from heavy metals.
Many other Holi Powders will not match this parameter.
The powders are tested and approved in the UK by SGS.
The test reports show the ingredients meet the EU cosmetic regulation.

Clothing:
A bit of common sense required here, do not wear your Sunday best!
Although generally the powders wash out there is a high risk of them tinting lighter items of clothing.
The risk will increase if your clothing gets wet prior, during or after powder application.
Plain white t shirts are ideal as you can pick them up cheap enough plus they show off the paint powder.
