Celebrating Swami Vivekananda
Celebrating Swami Vivekananda

This year we are celebrating the 150th Birth anniversary for an inspiring leader – Swami Vivekananda (1863-1902). He was a great Indian saint who promoted religious reform and multi-culturism in India and across the world. His speech at ‘Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago (1893) is considered to be the path-braking and comprehensive word on harmony across religious faiths and multi-culturism.
As we celebrate the 150th Birth Anniv of this great messenger of Hinduism and renowned Saint from India, it is time to remember and spread his message and the Cultural, Historical landscape from a 6000 year old civilization that he comes from.

We are organising an exhibition on theme “Swami Vivekanada’s life and Contribution of Indian Civilization to the world”. (more details including reports & pictures of exhibition and other details are at http://www.sv150.org.uk/ ).
