About Refugee Week
Refugee Week takes place in June each year. Refugee Week 2017 runs from 19 June to 25 June. The week is a UK wide programme of cultural and educational events to highlight the contribution that refugees make to life in the UK and encourage better understanding between communities. For information on what’s happening nationally, visit the Refugee Week website.
The Simple Acts Campaign on the refugee week website, encourages individuals to use small everyday actions to help people understand more about refugees.
Another way that you can find out more is by listening to the many fascinating and moving podcasts from locally based Refugee Radio.
